Holidays

Been having an amazing time in America which had totally distracted me from checking my grades! Only remembered when I received an email today so logged on immediately! 

So it's 3 B's! Very happy with that! Lovely way to round off this holiday which is nearly finished. 

Art in the airport

Arrived in Philadelphia, just under 8hours flying   time  now have just under 6 hours more to travel yet to Los Angeles. Just an ever so slight temperature increase from Edinburgh...!!!!!

Holiday

Today is the start of the travels, fly to Edinburgh this afternoon for an overnight stay. Then it's onto America tomorrow! 

Degree show

Tonight was the opening of the degree show but had to work so couldn't attend. But we also got a sneak preview the other day to see behind the scenes and all the final bits along with sketchbooks and notes. 

Summery days

I was out a long walk today to soak up vital vitamin D! 

And I watched swallows dart about above my head and I did manage to get a photo...it's the blurred shape on the bottom left corner! 

There was more than one which is good as "one swallow doesn't make it a summer"

Upcoming open exhibition

With an upcoming open exhibition I have been rummaging through 'old' work- only a year old, it's not like it has a use-by-date! 

I said last year I wanted to get some of my 'leaf' pieces framed but didn't have time. This time I'm more organised! Still need to work on a title. And a price!! 

And a screen print- which is completely transformed in this mount and frame. Again need to think of a title. 

Countdown is on!!!

Holiday mode can be well and truly switched on in 2 weeks time!
